Spent FCC catalyst with lanthanum is proposed as a novel P-removal adsorbent. The spent FCC catalyst exhibits 99% adsorption efficiency for low P-concentration wastewater (C0 <5.0 mg/L). High affinity, endothermic reaction and fast sorption kinetics are achieved. The phosphate is adsorbed in the form of LaPO4 and KH2PO4.

Faced the stringent challenge of FCC process, the multi-dimensional reaction structure was proposed for FCC process reaction chemistry. The multi-dimension reaction structure mode was established on the basis of hydrocarbon reaction chemistry over acid catalyst, but the former was different from the latter. FCC process with multi-dimensional reaction structure has more production modes. The multi-dimensional reaction structure was used to successfully develop MIP process aiming at maximizing iso-paraffins in cracked naphtha and MIP-CGP process aiming at cleaner gasoline and more propylene.
